LeDomduVin: The PADAWINE - MAY THE WINE BE WITH YOU

The PADAWINE

MAY THE WINE BE WITH YOU

Over the last 5 decades, May the 4th (fourth) has inspired countless visual and written parodies of the famous Star Wars phrase "May the force be with you" said by Obi-Wan Kenobi to Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. And, since 1978 or 1979 (depending on the sources), May the 4th has officially been named "Star Wars day".

After creating OBI WINE KENOBI (see it here) and MACE WINEDU (see it here), I could not resist creating another one, too much fun 😁👍🍷, so I created The PADAWINE

It was only logical, after creating the WHITE (OBI-WINE KENOBI) and the RED (MACE WINEDU) versions, I had to create the ROSÉ version.

As a huge fan of Star Wars, yesterday, May the 4th, 2021, inspired me to create this illustration above. The glass of rosé wine is inspired by the skin colour of this beautiful brunette, an imaginary Jedi Padawan created by the illustrator/animator Jiwoo Lee.

Thank you Jiwoo Lee 👍👌🙏🙏🙏

PADAWINE is based on Star Wars fictional characters (courtesy of Star Wars / Lucasfilm Ltd) and courtesy of Jiwoo Lee.

I was 4 years old in 1977 when the first episode of the Star Wars film series came out, Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. I went to see it with my parents for the first time. And, like many people of my generation, it impacted (and still is) my life in ways I would have never imagined. It became a passion, then an obsession, then a cult. I have seen countless times and loved all 9 movies and all the other related movies, TV series and animated movies and everything else spawned into the Star Wars world. I love everything about Star Wars. And this illustration/collage that I created is my way to thank George Lucas for all these years of great memories and for creating the fantastic and inspirational universe of Star Wars.

Thank you,

LeDomduVin (aka Dominique Noel)

LeDomduVin: MACE WINEDU - MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU

As a huge fan of Star Wars, today, May the 4th, 2021, inspired me to create this illustration above and rename the famous character: MACE WINEDU (instead of Mace Windu). The glass of red wine is inspired by the brown colour of the Jedi's robe (or cloak), as well as the brown skin colour of Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson).

After creating OBI WINE KENOBI (see it here), I could not resist creating another one, too much fun 😁👍🍷, so, I created MACE WINEDU, and right after, I also created PADAWINE (see it here),

So, here it is:
